The Cry Baby Series: Ocean Eyes Hand Chain — Handmade, Glass Beads, Gold Plated, Teary-Eye Mosaic, Abstract, Wearable art

This series has been so fun to make, trying to figure out a mosaic of beads to put together to try to capture the beauty of a tearful eye in an abstract way. I may or may not be making some more and venturing further into the Cry Baby era👀

Making jewelry has given me imposter syndrome since about 2023. And with all that has been happening in the world, it has felt rather trivial to focus on new jewelry designs for a while now. However, it’s what I literally do for a living and “life must go on”, especially when I feel so much frustration towards things that I can’t directly control. But I finally feel like I broke through that block with this series. It is a way to express how I’m feeling internally about the state things through wearable art, and I hope you can see as much beauty in it as I have.🧡✨

The mosaic eye pendant is handmade by me, Mikaela, featuring multiple different glass and crystal beads. Each eye is about 1 inch long from corner to corner and 0.75 inch wide.

Ocean Eyes offers a deep royal blue color palette
wrist circumference - 8 inch maximum (adjustable)
hand chain length - 3.25 inches long
finger chain - up to a size 12 ring

These are all made with plated materials, but I am happy to work on a custom piece if you’d like sterling silver or 14k gold
